The Complicated Family Dynamics of Extrasolar Worlds

Professor Daniella Bardalez Gagliuffi is an Assistant Professor of Astrophysics at Amherst College investigating the formation of giant planets and brown dwarfs. She is an observational and computational astronomer, originally from Lima, Peru, and is committed to providing access to quality education to all students. Dr. Bardalez Gagliuffi earned her BS in Physics at MIT and her PhD at UC San Diego. She enjoys cooking (and eating), traveling, playing the guitar, and knitting, and speaks Spanish, English, French, and Python.

Bring a friend and join us as we enjoy lively conversations, prizes, and brilliant minds. Light refreshments will be available outside the presentation room, first come, first served. This is an inclusive, family-friendly event for people from all walks of life (ALL are very much welcome: kids, college students, your parents!). We promise, you’ll learn something if you come.
