...and orders a drink in a hot flash
Professor Lynette Leidy Sievert (UMass Amherst) is joining SciTech Café on Wednesday, May 28 to answer these compelling questions:
- Why do women have hot flashes during the menopause transition?
- What is the frequency of hot flashes around the world?
- Why does the frequency of hot flashes differ across populations?
- What is brown fat, and how is it different from the white fat we are more familiar with?
SciTech Café brings local scientists into an informal setting, presenting science and the scientific process in an accessible way for ALL. We hope you’ll join us!
